About the Artist
"The meaning behind Maitika is from a a childhood movie of mine called “Jungle 2 Jungle” staring Tim Allen, His son had this pet Tarantula named “Maitika” and it was always drawn towards people fighting, loud noises, danger, that’s pretty much me, gotten me into a lot of trouble and Rollack is a way of life. Don’t really wanna get into deep with that. I’m from Harlowe, North Carolina. You probably never heard of it.
My lyrics style is dynamic. I really try not to force anything, if that makes sense, I let everything come to me at that moment and I just go with it, whatever vibe mood or how I’m feeling I write it, record it, create. Sleepless nights, A lot Of Pain & Struggles, great rewards & more trials to come.
My music is unique because I created it, someone can probably do it better or worse, but they didn’t create it. I think about what genre I’m in a lot because it’s not just hip hop & rap, I’m very versatile and like to experiment with different sounds, so I’d say Alternative. I’m a different breed.”
